Privacy Policy

Who we are
Union Agency (“Union,” “we,” “us”) is a professional introduction service headquartered in San Francisco, California. We connect people and firms who may benefit from knowing each other. This policy describes how we handle personal information across our websites (including unionagency.co and unionmatching.com), our communications with you, and our services.
Information we collect
Contact and professional information — name, email address, phone number, company, role, and professional background. We collect this when you provide it to us, and from publicly available and licensed business databases.
Communications — emails, text messages, and calls with us. Calls may be recorded or transcribed for quality and to accurately capture what you asked us to find; where the law requires, you will be notified before recording begins.
Preferences and needs — what you tell us you are looking for, so we can propose relevant introductions.
Usage data — standard technical information (browser type, pages visited, approximate location from IP address) when you use our websites.
How we use it
We use personal information to operate the introduction service: to understand what you are looking for, to identify people whose needs may be a fit for yours, to propose and arrange introductions, to communicate with you, and to improve our service. We also use it to comply with legal obligations and to protect against fraud and abuse.
We use software, including artificial-intelligence systems, to help draft communications and evaluate potential matches. A human team oversees the service.
When we share it
Introductions — the core of our service is making introductions. When we propose one, we share relevant professional context about each party with the other. We do not wire an introduction through without consent from both sides.
Service providers — vendors that help us run the service (hosting, email delivery, transcription, analytics) process data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations.
Legal — we may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
We do not sell personal information.
Text messaging
If you text us or opt in to text messaging, we may reply by SMS or iMessage. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from us.
Your choices and rights
You can opt out of our emails via the unsubscribe link or by replying to any message, and out of texts by replying STOP.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We honor these requests regardless of jurisdiction and respond within 30 days.
Data retention and security
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards; no system is perfectly secure, and we encourage you to contact us with any concerns.
Changes and contact
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated effective date. Questions: [email protected] or +1 (628) 303-7358.
