Terms of Service

Union Agency (“Union,” “we,” “us”) provides a professional introduction service: we learn what you are looking for, identify people or firms whose needs may complement yours, and — with both sides’ consent — make introductions. These terms govern your use of our websites and services.

Union introduces parties to each other. We are not a party to, and take no responsibility for, any agreement, transaction, or relationship that follows an introduction. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, law firm, or accounting firm, and nothing we communicate is investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice. You are responsible for your own diligence on anyone we introduce you to.

Making and receiving introductions is free unless we propose a fee to you in writing and you agree to it before it applies. Any fee arrangement is set out separately from these terms.

You agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge, to use the service for lawful professional purposes, and not to misuse contact information you receive through an introduction — including for spam, harassment, or resale.

Context we share with you about another party is shared for the purpose of evaluating and pursuing the introduction. Treat it with the discretion you would expect for information about yourself.

The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that any introduction will be made, will be a fit, or will lead to any outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Union disclaims all warranties, and our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date; continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
